The participants were supported in the creative endevours by BBC Culture Show host and National Lottery ambassador Lauren Laverne who commented,
"Hedz educational workshops are rudimentary to the positive development of Britain's young people and communities for the foreseeable future." (Lauren Laverne - BBC Culture Show)
The mural was created on a previously unsightly area of construction hoardings to extend the positive sense of community pride into the public arena.
