Over 1000 people made it out on a Wednesday to experience one of the most legendary hip hop acts ever to come to the Midlands.
Chuck D, Flavor Flav and crew put on a mighty 3 hour show with live drummer, guitarist and bassist, as well as world champion, DJ Lord.
The show consisted of a full live version of the album, 'It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back', interspersed with impromptu a cappella versions, instrumental solos and even a cover of Black Sabbath's Iron Man, as a tribute to Birmingham.
This event won 'Hip Hop Event Of The Year 2008' in The Night Times.
