Hedz are currently working on a large scale renovation contract with Redditch Council. Hedz artists are working alongside local young people in the artistic renovation of key bus shelter structures in and around central Redditch.

Just a quick update on some more exciting news in the world of Hedz.
Our team of creative artists have just been contracted to assist Northampton Museum in creating a catwalk exhibition later in June. Hedz artists will create a 6oft mural as a back drop to the museums exciting new exhibition showing the changes in fashion culture over the past 50 years.
Hedz are very excited to be part of what promises to be a truly inspirational project that will assist various members of the local community in looking back into Britain’s colourful past.

Hedz would like to announce some amazing news. We are set to host the regional heats for this years DMC Technics U.K DJ Championships at the Rainbow in Birmingham on Saturday the 6th of June 2009.
After having the pleasure of hosting a brilliant event last year at the Custard Factory, the guys over at DMC have enlisted the Hedz team to host what is billed to be a truly awesome event.
The night will see the likes of Nextmen, DJ Switch, and DJ Shiftee creating an inspirational mix of live Hip-Hop and groundbreaking turntabalism.
Thats 2 world battle champs and a benchmark Hip-Hop crew, plus the 1989 World Champion Cutmaster Swift, Hedz own DJ Mylz, and Scratch Club founder Automaton…

Our team of creative artists have recently created a 60ft aerosol mural for The National Lottery charity arm, Good Causes. Hedz artists were helped by 15 young people from a local community centre, as well as receiving some much welcome contributions from 4 local senior citizens. TV presenter and radio DJ Lauren Laverne was on site as The National Lottery ambassador for community engagement art projects. The mural was created along a local unsightly construction hoarding. The project was organised to give the local community members a colourful reminder of how The National Lottery and Hedz have worked together to give all members of the area access to inspirational creative arts.

To say we are excited over at ‘Hedz Quarters’ would be a slight understatement. For those who haven’t yet caught the flyers and on-line marketing material, here’s the scoop..
Heducation and Factory Events present PUBLIC ENEMY Live show at the Custard Factory on Wednesday 3rd of December. That’s correct guys and gals, our next live event will see hip-hop legends CHUCK D, FLAVOUR FLAV, DJ LORD and PROFFESSOR GRIFF playing to a potentially rammed Factory Club.
We are truly honoured to be hosting this historical event, with Heducation residents Dj Mylz, The Doctor, and Malicious supporting PUBLIC ENEMY’ only U.K date on this tour. As an amazing added bonus we are buzzing to announce that Dj Switch (DMC World champion) will also be gracing us with an exclusive set. If that wasn’t enough, we have also laced this amazing line-up with a taste of homegrown talents in the shape of The Lost Generation, MC Serocee, and Sammy B Sides. Phew!

What a week we are having over at the new ‘Hedz Quarters’, ‘busy’ is an understatement. Christmas is fast approaching and we are really happy to share some amazing news with you all. Our creative team have just been contracted by Northside Youth Development to deliver a series of clothing customisation workshops to the young people of Smiths Wood Solihull. Several of our artists have worked alongside this organisation in past projects, and I speak for all our staff when I say it’s a an absolute pleasure to be involved with their latest venture. The workshops will be held every Wednesday across December. Our artists will work alongside the participants to create bespoke customised hoodies and t-shirts. Both the youth workers and the young people over at Smiths Wood are really enthusiastic with some amazing hidden talents.

Hi all. We are delighted to announce that the Hedz team have just settled into their new working space. Over the last few years as our business has grown, we in-turn have physically outgrown our previous studio space. After many late nights and back breaking removal work, we are now the proud occupants of a much larger office which incorporates a fully ventilated studio space. This move will give us the opportunity to continue bringing all of our loyal supporters and valued customers the very highest quality creative media, aerosol artwork, and contemporary education services.
